Jean Louis Cavarero is currently Professor of Computer Science at the IUT of Nice Côte d’Azur, where he has worked since 1975. He was Director of this IUT from 1994 to 1998.
His research interests lie in the areas of information modeling, object-oriented analysis and design, Business Process Management. He has supervised 22 PhD theses and has an important experience in leading research projects and conducting co-operative projects with the industry.
Professor Jean Louis Cavarero is the originator of the LAPAGE methodology (1980) for design and realization of information systems. He is the co-author of 2 textbooks (Masson and Ellipses Editors) and author or co-author of over 100 referred papers in national or international conferences.
