André FLORY

Program Committe Chair of RCIS'08 Conference

André FLORY is currently professor at the department of Informatics of the French Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA) in Lyon and member of the CNRS laboratory LIRIS (information system and images) where he is in charge of the “information research team “.

His research interests include database modelling, information system design, data warehouses. Now his researches focus on medical information system .He was previously the head of the information system centre of his institute and the head of the PHD program in computer science in Lyon. He was visiting professor in MIS at university of Minnesota. He has published more than 150 papers in academic journals and national and international conferences.

He is currently editor in charge of the French journal “Ingénierie des Systèmes d’Information”.
